I have 99 Cobra convert. I have purchased a set of 2004 rims and tires from a cobra. I ran the goodyear F1's for two years but the car always seemed to want to wander with those tires. The tires had about 15000 miles on them and now their worn out. Did Ford change the alignment specs on the terminator models or do you think it was just how the tire were worn from the original cobra. I want to buy the 275/40/17 tires but I don't want the car to feel squirrelly I could go back to 255/40/17's, any advice?

You should have no problems running 275's on the rear of that car.

Wide tires will naturally "wander" more than a similar narrow tire. My stock F1's follow the crown of the lane all the time. Can be annoying to say the least!
