IF you have a 3650 you don't need the stops, the 3650 has internal stops. I used to put my handle around the 7 o'clock position.

oh yeah, i know....i was just making sure because the instruction booklet strongly said to take them out....first gear seems to be a little bit more effort to get into gear.....its no big deal....just was under the impression of stock feel with shorter throws....anyway, i dont see why people say it should be the first mod you should do.....it improves confidence, but i think its a bit over hyped. It's DEFINITELY worth the money though

It's definitely in the top 5 you should do first. Caback, Midpipe, CAI (Optional), Tuner, Shifter.

7 o'clock position for me I like having the shifter closer to me. and yes the stops are the allen screws but you should remove them with a 3650

I was one of the first things I did and noticed a huge improvement over stock. I also drained and put in new trans fluid while I was doing the swap. It helped ease the dreaded 1-2 gear grind for those of us with 3650 trans.

I got the T-45 so I use them, but I also have the handle at the 7 position. Slips right into my hand :nice:
