Midpipes

Here it goes, i have a few questions...

I want a midpipe. The bassani x pipe that give you the ability to take the cats on and off. Will it sound as good with an x pipe with fixed cats or catless pipes? Now, the mac pro chamber, will there be a significant difference in sound if it has cats or not? if i get the pro chamber with cats, will long tube headers fit?

mac sells a prochamber with cats for their longtubes, but you have to buy them together otherwise they wont fit. the prochamber for thier longtubes is made to only work with the headers but they also have a prochamber for the stock manifolds. everthing else, not sure.
