Yeah, thinking about selling my 1993 2.3L auto (yes, A4LD...ack) hatch. Could say I got laid off this week because they were overstaffed, so out of a job and my bank account is starting to run dry. I never wanted to sell it because it was my first car, loved it and it was absolutely reliable, plus it was a future 2.3T project I wanted to do once I had the time and money. No this isn't a sale in the forums, I'm trying to get a good idea how much it would be worth to see if I should or not.

148,000 miles, it's been in the family, the engine is in good condition, tore it down and had the heads rebuilt and even after sitting for 5 months, it fired right up like new. Past 4 years it has been babied with 1000 miles a year and a tune up every year. Tranny is in good condition, not slipping or any issues. Clean car even though the interior is worn, but average wear. Needs 1 AC hose to be replaced which I probably will do before selling it since the hose isn't much. R134 AC that blows very cold air, just needs that hose replaced before freon goes in.

depending on how good the paint is you may be able to get 1500 for it. it also depends on the buying behavior in houston. my 2.3 was similar to yours and i bought it for 600. good luck and youll find a new job
