I was just wondering how much do you think I could sell for my car...It currently has 80,000 mile on body and engine.

Performance parts include what is in my sig and the rear end was rebuilt about 6k miles ago and trans about 8k miles ago. It has a brand new paint job and also a new top that is about 2 years old. The interior is in good shape still, the driver seat has one small tear in the seat, the back seat has a tear at the top of the seat. It has new tires all around. Oil changed every 3k miles.

Also I was in an accident. The things that were damaged were the hood, header panel, headlights and airbags. I do not have a passenger airbag anymore and just a cover. I wound up getting and escort airbag and module and sensors for the driver side one and everything is in working order. The hood and everything else was replaced. When paint was done all body work was fixed such as dents.

I might just take a break from mustangs until next spring...looking into buying a winter truck for cheap until I can buy another mustang. I would either be getting a fox body, 94-95 or 96-98.

The main thing is that i dont really want a convertible anymore and i also want a stick too. I mean even if i throw some nitrous on my car im going to need a rollbar installed.

Convertibles are way more fun. How much are you hoping to get for it, and where are you located?

My vote is to take a break from Mustangs for a while - park the car and if you still feel the same way about selling it in a few months then get rid of it.

I agree with the above post to sit on it for the winter...........if you decide to sell then it will be easier to get it sold in the spring being it's a vert. It will give you some time to stew on it.

Man that is so hard to say......................you always have to find a person who knows what the mods are worth.......................there are a few stangs on ebay with mods..............that would be a good guage..............my advice..............keep the stang..........you've already got a great start..................

Ok I have a vert rebuilt engine but less mods then you, paint isnt new but looks nice still, stock tranny and in my area I can get 6-6500. It really depends on the buyer, some people just like the way it looks and sounds and will offer you more then somone who knows what mods/market value is.

i would say around 7k for it. thats about average i believe the last time someone asked. i would keep it for the winter and drop the insurance. youwon't get any decent money for a convertible going into winter. nobody will buy it.

If you had a nice set of wheels I bet it would be much easier to sell. Again as other have said its hard to say, but as is, where I live probably around 6-7 depending on the buyer and how knowledgable they are.

probably about 6k, but i would list it for 8k to expect a drop.

i hear you on the auto.
i LOVE my vert, i wouldn't trade that up in the world.
but my first stang was auto, and i only had it for just over 2 years before i got real sick of it...
    and bought a stick

i think it comes down to the mileage...his has 80something and yours has more than 200. people are willing to pay alot more for a low mileage car.

You would still have the wear on the body and other parts of the car...sometimes people fear people that dropped in new engines just because they dont know if it is hacked or what not
