So my driverside mirror got scuffed at my apartment complex about a month ago. I was just going to get a replacement mirror, but I thought that body colored mirrors would be cool. I found some covers that cover the whole mirror on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2005...4QQihZ017QQcategoryZ33744QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I have to get ones that cover the entire mirror because the scuffs on the raised area, not the recessed area. What do you guy/girls think I should do? Do you know anywhere that sells painted covers? Do you think I should just get a replacement mirror?

I'd just get a new mirror, there only @$84.00 and then have them painted the body color?

I have the same covers color matched purchased on E-Bay. They fit perfectly almost don't even need the 3M tape. They look great!

In my opinion covers don't do enough. I had mine painted to match the car. That way the whole assembly matches the body not just a small part.

You can get covers that cover the entire mirror, not just part of it. How about the heated mirrors? Anyone have any experience with them? My wife's Escape has heated mirrors and they are great in winter. Would it be an easy swap to add heated mirrors to the Mustang?

Nice touch, as for heated no plans here for a winter pony. I plan to keep her in the stable.
