sawman-I think you summed it up pretty well. I was wondering why I liked seeing a girl driving a gt stang, especially one w/ a 5-speed.

Well, i'll be the first to admit it, I actually like how the new new Eclipse looks, at least from what i've seen on TV/Internet. Those performance #'s do sound pretty sad though. Although I would never buy one I wouldnt mind if my GF did, and i'd probably take it for a spin every now and then....(mainly for something to come back to the Stang and go :D :D :D ) .......
I am definately looking forward to some tool in one of these trying to run me at a light though, and putting him in his place... :nice:

I'm still not sure what I think of the new Eclipse, but don't worry; I won't let your opinion color my idea of it. My taste does not always run with the norm, anyway. Most times, such as with the 'stang, but I'm interested in a lot of different cars. :p

I like the New Beetle with the flowers on the rims. Looks cute with a cute girl behind the wheel.

You can admire a car you wouldn't own. The Mitsu looks like a great car from here, for a woman.

I cannot beleive that choosing one car over another qualifies as not liking any car but mustangs in this forum. Don't put words in other peoples mouths. It shows a severe lack of communication skills.

Wow, I thought my last post was civil enough! And I Did NOT put words in anyone else's mouth! Communication skills include being able to read what other people are saying without 'reading anything else into it.' I even ended with a playful smile. Good grief! I guess someone wants to fight.
Perhaps you should re-read the last post again. If you see something offensive there, please repost it for me, and if I see your point, I'll apologize. It's no biggie. :)

Sawman-embrace your feminine side-buy yourself a new beetle; that 03 cobra will cover any questions about your masculinity.

I am painting the old Cobra pink in an effort to proove I am one with my inner woman.

Merlin, you insinuated that because I think the Mitsu is for chics, I only like one car or one type of car. You are wrong. I am an avid auto fan and really love to see what is out and what is coming out. If that is not what you meant, fine I was not looking to argue anyway. That doesn't change the fact that the Eclipse is shaped for easy insertion.

I was not meaning to imply anything; merely stating my own interest in different types of cars. If anyone took it personally, perhaps they have issues. I do agree with one thing, though; I CAN be interested in different types of cars, but not really want to own them. Automobiles intrigue me, many different kinds. This is not meant to imply anything towards anyone. Again, this is not meant to imply anything towards anyone. I hope this is clearly understood. :bang:

It is understood. So is the continuing insult highlighted above. I know you meant nothing by that, right???

Now, If you can post a thread without an insult, I may be done. Or, we can go on forever 1 minute at a time if the Eclipse is just that important to you.
