its bittersweet. im happy i was able to sell it. ive been wanting a change for a while now. it was a excellent car. gotta say tho, it was tough watching the new owner drive it away :( . car went to lewisburg, tn. a younger guy bought it and will be driving it daily. judging from his character, i think he will take good care of it. he will not be able to garage or carport it tho :( . i just hope he keeps it as clean as possible and he enjoys it as much as i did.

isnt it crazy how we ( or at least i ) get so attached to a car

im not totally sure. i've told myself i am going to not get in a hurry in buying something else. no need to, i have the exploder for a daily.

my two main interests would be a 99-04 car or a 96-98 cobra .

i have a brand new set of 18x10 and 18x9 silver FR500s in the box awaiting to be mounted on something.....

There is a '66 hardtop stang with a 289 sitting at a dealer where I know the owner. Word on the street is that it is going out on the lot this spring. I have first dibs, but would have to sell or trade my '95. Not sure what I want to do, cause I definitely have memories already with the '95. I understand what you mean about getting attached.

don't sweat it, man -- soon you'll get you another. was a good looking car, though.

i miss my 94 every day, but the Mach i just got is a consolation.

Sux to see it go but you'll find something else to bring you just as much fun and joy!

Im on my third. After my '89 GT in high school, I tried a '96 GT auto for a few months and hated it. Then I saved to find a nicer, low mileage 5.0L. I opted for my '95 due to the chassis and brake upgrades from the foxes. Fiveoho, what made you want to sell it anyway? You were just ready for a change and thats it?

cars been for sale for over a year. mainly just wanting a change. something different. i'll miss it, i know i will but i dont regret selling it. i lowered my price just one day before it sold because i was not happy with the looks of the car. about a month ago it got backed over in a driveway by a powerstroke. got the hood, front bumper, header panel, drivers headlight and marker, crash bar, styrofoam and supports. didnt hurt either of the fenders. didnt get into the core support or anything like that. looked worse than it really was but nontheless, made me sick - literally. after arguing with the insureance company for a week, i finally got OEM parts. the guy that done the work (professional body shop) painted the whole clip. the paint was close but didnt match. that bugged me to no end. the aftermarket headlights i bought didnt fit good either ( tried two different sets ). that bugged me to no end. i was up front with the guy that bought the car and showed him pics of the car when wrecked. he was fine with it along with the matching of the paint. he commented on how well it looked. matter of opinions i guess.

anyway, im now in the market for a 99-04 car or a 96-98 cobra. not ruling out other mustangs tho.

no one's ever gonna love your car as much as you do. they won't also see all the tiny little faults you see, which may or may not be a good thing, hehe.

i personally wanted a shot at the modular engines, more so the DOHC. love they way they sound and they perform great, too.

Nate: probably going with some 18x9/18x10 FR500's, polished. considered the 18" crager/mach wheel that's out there, but after looking at them on a car from multiple angles, not really feeling them. on the other hand, every time i see a car w/ deep dish fr's, i cry. almost bought an 04 sonic blue GT because of the stance + fr's.
