I will be installing them this weekend. Man, these things are much heavier than the stock units. I have heard that the stockers are pretty thin which lets them warp easy under heat which causes vibration. I guess they weren't kidding. The brembos seem much thicker.

yes, I have a 99 cobra but I bought it used so I don't know the history of it. But all I can say is that the brembos I just received have a different design. Looks like the heat sinks in the middle are much better and there is a more radiused edge from the rotor hub to the outer ring. The ones I took off were pretty warn down so maybe that explains the different in weight? Although I'd be surprised it made that much difference.

Guess I was wrong. They are the same exact design. I guess it just looked different upon initial inspection because of how dirty/rusty the old ones were. I weighed the new and old and the new one's are about 1lb heavier. Could there really be a pound worth of metal shaved off the old ones? Wow...

They're in guys! You're right Kilgore, I couldn't wait 'till this weekend. Man, after I set the brakes in the stopping is just incredible. Now the problem is I can easily activate the ABS. The front wheels want to lock up all the time now when I get on the brakes. Now I think the rears are slightly under powered.
