Thanks for mentioning the starter, i wasnt sure if it would be a problem from the heat or not, i was thinking about getting a ford racing mini-starter, and wrapping it in header wrap but wasnt sure if ild need to
the header wrap will make your headers rust like crazy.
they do make certain things to wrap the starter. which is better.
and yes. the minis really do make a huge different in header clearance.
