Man I swear I haven't had any sort of luck lately except for bad luck. The other day it hailed like hell here and my car is now dented to Sh**. Plus I realize that I no longer know what in the world is going on in my engineering classes. I'm learning frustration and confusion in my classes and not much else. I wonder why the hell I even chose this damn major, it stopped being fun a long time ago. I mean how in the hell can you get a 54% on a take home test that you work 6 hours on with the whole class!?!?!? Plus my girlfriend of 3.5 years and I broke up not too long ago.....grrrr!!!!! I would say that it couldn't get any worse but I'd be lying since with my luck it probably will. I need to join a fighting program so that I can kick someone's a** maybe that'll make me feel better. No I'd probably just get the sh** kicked out of me. Ok I think I'm done ranting, now. Now that I think about it I think I actually feel a bit better now
Join the ranks of the DentMoblie drivers. I had an 80 Fairmont with a 6 month old, $1000 paint job & got caught in a hailstorm. I sold the car for about 1/2 of what I paid for it and bought the 89 GT I have had for 14 years now.
man ryan, pay attention in class, Hail happens when it is warm because the drops of water falling through the air are forced upwards and forced to cool rapidly because of rising warm air pushing them. This happens several times up and down before the hail droplets compound enough ice to break free of the force of the rising air through gravity's pull. They lose SOME mass when falling because of melting but we used to get hail all the time ini texas.
We don't have an AP Physics, when I took my 5 sciences, they only had AP BIO, and everything else was regular. Now they have Honors everything. It sucks, I could've had the 5.0 for Earth Science, Bio, Chem, Physics, and Astronomy. The young people get to play inflate your GPA
They don't give over a 4.0 here. Even if I got 107 as a final grade it would still be a 4.0. And we don't get ANY additions to grades from any class except AP
just wait till you kids get to college. then see how tough it is to take a full length class in 6 weeks.
I fell into a sweet job. I sit and surf the net all day while a computer collects all the data. I just gotta plug it into a graph at the end of the week.
It's mostly Thermo II and aero (fluids) Hahaha your job sounds like the one I had over the summer as an engineering aid for the military, I pretty much just sat around and surfed the web.
I have to complete a whole course of oxycetaline*sp by october 12. Have to make a box 10x10x10 and hold pressurized water.
