n/a vs FI

Gonna look to spend some money on the car after the first of the year. Should I do the head and cam thing with bolt ons or do the blower kit and see what it makes or how long the stock internals hold on for. I mean the line of excess and what is good for just a street car is debatable. I think 400 on the street is good but 500 hp seems to be the norm. What reasonable and reliable with a budget? Doing the work is no prob got a second car so time isnt as big a deal. Thanks for you input. Tough decision when money doesnt grow on tress or does it?

Apples and oranges my friend. The best bang for the buck would certainly be the Forced Induction route......especially in the 400rwhp+ range. With todays systems, and tuning capabilities reliability doesn't seem to be an issue anymore like it was even 5-years ago.

If you want 500hp I wouldnt go NA cause youll never get there. Atleast without spending alot of dough. Slap a blower on it and call it a day.

400hp I'd say N/A

do the blower and be happy for a few weeks...then you'll want the heads and cams and more boost and so on...

if you want 400hp then do the blower casue you will spend way to much for a N/A set up to get you at least 350hp
