i have dirt in between the "textured" parts of my gray dash, armrest, center console, etc and its looking crappy. i tried using a green scrubby pad and lightly rubbed it with some cleaner but i noticed it was just beginning to take off my paint. luckily i stopped in time so it wouldnt show. but is there a good vinyl cleaner or a good method to get that kind of dirt out? thank!
Use an old toothbrush, or go to wally world and buy a stiff paint brush. Soak the brush with The vinyl cleaner. I would recommend Einszett Tiefenpfleger Einszett Tiefenpfleger (pronounced “Tee-fen-flee-gar”) cleans and protects all plastic components such as fenders, fascia, interior panels, consoles, tires and rubber trim. Tiefenpfleger produces a weather-resistant, long-lasting, temperature-resistant seal and a beutiful satin finish. The unique Tiefenpfleger formula delivers lasting protection and color fidelity by means of pole reversal of the molecular structure. Tiefenpfleger was designed to withstand the harsh detergents normally used in automatic car wash systems. Patent pending. 500 ml. Spray Bottle. Imported from Germany.
<---rysred can i buy this from a store? or only online? anyone else recommend any other cleaners that i can buy at a store?
ive always been happy with armor-all(either the spray or wipes) or if you want something more expensive get meguiars
Meguiars new NXT vinyl/leather cleaner is great. I just got some, and it is a perfect match for the quality of their car wash.
