hmm...unlike Joe I am a "I told you so" kind of guy, luckily you didn't hurt anything in the motor.

As for a balancer I run a FRPP Steel SFI balancer and it works great.

I run the Pioneer/Powerbond unit mentioned above. It's a sturdy, high quality piece. Romac is supposed to be great but with the Powerbond I saved $70 and it's SFI rated to like 8,000 RPM which is far more than I need at this point.
