NEED HELP PLEASE!!

I have a 02mustang gt and was really looking forward to putting in pullies.I heard they help out alot. The problem is i have a autotek amp, one 12 kove speaker. The amp is pushing about 300 watts and i have heard that with the pullies installed while running the system it can put a significant strain on the altinator. Is this true and has anyone experienced any problems with this?

I wouldnt worry about it, my friend has two 10" subs with the pullies and doesnt have any problems. Just get a cap. Your lights might dim a little though.
