I found this MAC CAI online. I'm definitely thinking of getting it. Although, they didn't write that many specs on it. I have an all stock 94 GT with flowmaster exhaust.

    Intake

Should i get this? What exactly would this thing do to my car, would it make it louder? how exactly would this thing help me, i don't want to spend $175 on something that will barely do anything. I'm most concerned with noise, i want my car to sound loud, it already is, but i want it louder.

first off if u want ur car louder ur goin to want to do more with the exhaust, like an off road h pipe and some headers. as for the cold air, u can wait on that, there are other things u can get to mkae ur car faster and louder, so go with the exhaust, i would say go with BBK or MAC. good luck

It's mostly for looks. It will give you like 2 RWHP :D If you want your car to be louder, save the money you would have spent on that and buy an off road X or H pipe, or a MAC pro chamber. I'm sure someone will tell you to make your own CAI for about 50 bucks. Do a search for "home made cai"

yea i heard the X pipe would make my car sound badass, but the thing is, i just bought it and i'm a lil broke right now. So this CAI won't do anything sound wise?

You might be able to hear a "whoosh" of air from it, but thats about it. I doubt you'd be able to notice a difference in your exhaust note.

cold air kits are a waste of oney if u ask me, u can always make a home made one, i got a cold air kit from rio5.0 for only 35 bucks, thats the only reason i got one otherwise i would just do a home made one. good luck

my cold air kit was 58 shipped. when i put it on I immediately noticed the sound, which is awesome, and it seemed that the throttle response had been improved. Its entirely impossible that I'm kidding myself. No noticeable power gains. I'll never understand all these engine bay pics I see with guys running open filters in the engine bay though. Sucking in 200 degree air? Stick that guy in the fenderwall!

i found this x pipe would i still be able to keep my flowmasters with this thing? (dumb question) i know this would increase sound, but will it do it by a lot?

Mass air Flow meter is already in your car, If you are talking about upgrading to a new computer that ford sells, that is pointless if you don't have any upgrades (engine wise).. the only reason you need a chip/ecu management is when you upgrade your heads, cam, exhaust, etc. then you need bigger injector, computer, blablabla..... if you want to get some more ponies out of your mustang, run underdrive pullies and and h-pipe... and bump your time to 12 degrees...... easy power.....

Under drive pullies help the engine rev up quirker and less weight which gives you more power, and H and X pipes have the different cross section in the exhaust pipes, helps with exhaust flow

x pipe is more of like a higher rpm scream... and the h-pipe is a 24/7 roar'r.... i say go wit a h-pipe... if u want to spend the money on a real good screamer then go for a bassani x-pipe..

oh yeah i think u should get a mid pipe.. (x or h pipe).... then go wit some u/d pulleys then some gears.. but thats my opinion..

the x gives you more power and the h sound deeper like a muscle car. The x give a raspier sound. The power gain really are minimal. Just what sound you want. goto www.mustangexhaust.com you can here clips that people posted.
