    Hi guys,

    I need your two cents.

    1) Have a look at the two pics I've linked below. It looks like a bolt is missing. It should be pretty easy to see. I'm not a gearhead, so tell me if I'm a crack smoker.

    2) Once I start to break after a decent launch (when the weight of the car starts to shift forward) I hear a single pop from the front right side. I was thinking suspension, but I'm curious to know if you think it may be related to the concern above?

BTW, I didn't have time to scale these down.. So the Pics are HUGE!!

    Thanks for your help.

If you are talking about that threaded hole below the valve cover that's normal. The popping sound you here is probably the same problem a lot of guys have had. There is a tsb on that. I'm not sure, but I think it's a front spring.

Lower the car with some Eibach Pro or Steeda, no more popping!

I've got them, now just to get somebody to install.. I'm sure as hell not paying somebody $89/hr when he expects it to take an hour per wheel.

There are some decent write-ups, so maybe I could do it myself. I just don't have any access to air tools. :/

Went to Firestone today, to check on the labor. I'd have to buy the springs from them as they won't install otherwise.

Quoted me roughly $600 for the springs and the install..

    Dear Gawd.

$600 for four springs worth what about 200-250. That had better at least be a padded barrel that they plan on bending you over!

The springs, install and a front end alignment should run about $500.
