just bought a set of 18 in factory chrome wheels for my 2007. What size rear tires can I go with for more traction at local street nights. Will 295 45 18 fit on these stock rims without issues. I read the sticky thread but could not find the help i needed.

Also, just put Eibach pro kit and Ford Racing Struts/shocks and a summit adj panhard bar so it is quite a bit lower than stock.

    thanks

They are factory rims and I am not in my garage to measure. I think they are 8.5.

You would need a 10 inch rim to fit those tires on safely.
i have an 06 Roush with 10 inch rims and the stock tire for that is a 275/40/r18.
i moved up to 295s out back and tire rack sad that i shouldn't go with the 305's unless i had a 10.5 inch rim. i'm not 100% sure but i think that 265's should be about as big as you go but i would double check that to be sure.

I have Nitto 555's 275/45/17 on my stock 17X8. When I air them down at the track (normally about 12-14psi) they hook like monsters and I'm running a root blower so the torque is there, they just hook. I do get a little squirm out of them when I air them back up for the street and pretend I have IRS out back, lol
