new 2003 cobra owner

hey guys new to this part of the form, just sold my 94 gt and then went and got my 2003 cobra its got 100 thousand i know high miles i got it for 10 grand though and its super clean and the paint job on it is really nice ill put pics up later but heres the big one to day i was doing a tune up and what not and decided to check for vacum leaks wish i wouldent have lol the intake plenum gasket is leaking boost. Ive looked every where for a gasket kit for the top intake stuff and cant seem to find it any help would be good oh and how hard will this task be? thanks

There is no upper end kit even from Ford. All the gaskets including the supercharger and intercooler gaskets are sold individually. Take your VIN to a Ford parts dept and be prepared to be there a long time while they look up all the required gaskets.

well that sucks do u know how much it would cost to just have it done? id like to do it myself but just curious to see how much it would take. thanks for the info

is anybody familiar with a clunk when going into first gear sometimes it does it and sometimes it dosent?

^ Run a search for "clunk," as IRS cobras are known to have that infamous clunking noise. You'll find a few past threads about cures and remedies, or some folks who have just learned to live with it.
