from an article in the "Car Connection":

Ford's biggest ad campaign ever, in celebration of its new lineup of 2005 cars and trucks, will feature an electronically reconstituted Steve McQueen, once again at the wheel of his beloved Mustang. The 2005 Mustang ad, due later this fall, will use digital editing to bring McQueen back to life in the cockpit of the new pony car. In the ad, McQueen will appear at a cornfield cut by a farmer into a maze resembling a racetrack, in a sly reference to the 1989 movie Field of Dreams. McQueen, who died of cancer in 1980, emerges to take the keys from the farmer. The ad campaign will include print ads for the new Freestyle, Five Hundred and Super Duty trucks as well.
