18x9s with Sumitomo 265/35r18s in the front
18x10 with Sumitomo 285/35r18s in the rear
Bought them from Americanmuscle.com, I ended up getting a decent deal. I really like the hypercoated look... they have a nice shine in the direct sunlight, but look almost gunmetal at dusk. What do you think?

car looks great with the wheels and tires but that 285 in the rear should look wider than it does, even on a 10" wheel

285s were the widest AmericanMuscle had to offer in a non-drag radial tire...... but thanks?

The wheels look good on your car. Your car would look even better if it was lowered.

I'd love to lower it, but the roads around here are pretty bad, and I have some steep driveways to get into so I'd be scraping all the time. My '97 was lowered and that thing was such a PITA to maneuver so I'm avoiding that situation for now

Did you have 17" tires on the car before? Do you notice a difference in ride quality between the 17"s and 18"s?

Great choice. Hypercoat looks perfect with your color. The reason why the 285 doesn't look very wide is because Sumitomo's run narrower than other brands.

good to know. 295s would be perfect but that price point jumps up quite a bit.

I didn't know that, thanks! If the Nittos weren't more money than the Sumis, I probably would have bought those, and maybe they would have filled out the wheel a little better. I wish AmericanMuscle carried more sizes and brands though. Anyway, I'm glad you like it! Of course, your Mach > my GT, any day :hail2:

Wow, I finally get to see what these wheels look like on our bodystyle and since I was dead set on getting these wheels, the pictures just confirm it!

Yeah the Sumi's diffinetely run narrower. A buddy of mine did the same set up and after I saw them I went with the Nitto's. Car looks good though, I like the hypercoated but I went with the black ones on mine. Shame you can't lower it, would really make the car. This is a shot from MW, not sure if you can tell, it's the only one I could find.

Yeah man, I was a bit skeptical but a few pictures on American Muscle.com really sold me on them.
