New Fuel filter bracket

    Has anyone found one? I just checked 5.0 resto and can't seem to find one. Anyone know if there are any available?

    Mine is pretty rusty..so i want a new one

    Mike, PPI has a new oem bracket. It's about the 29th item down on the engine page. They call it an external fuel filter mounting bracket, obsolete part. I don't know if you have every used them before but they have alot of obsolete ford parts and are great do deal with, I bought alot of stuff from them.

    Holy crap! $90!

    I wana new one..but not that badly since nobody will ever see it.

    Maybe i'll just sandblast mine and repaint it.

    I sandblasted mine and powdercoated it. It's sexy now.

    You might be better off finding one from a SN95, I just got one from a '96 and its rust free. I looked for some more at the bone yard for those who want, but they werent that great.

    LOL, yeah it wasn't cheap but I guess when you have the last of the oem ones you charge $90 for them :shrug:. I wonder what ford got for them, try steve at tousley ford they may still stock late model ones if those work and they have great prices.

    I got one from the Dealer about 5 years ago and I think I paid about $20, but I would say its much harder to find now.
