    Got the grill here

    http://www.americanmuscle.com/2005-mustang-billet-grille-gt.html

    and had it powdercoated black.

both top and bottom are overlays.

also if anyone else has installed one like this, the directions say to remove the pony emblem in the upper grill, but the mount for the pony emblem that is left, made the grill not sit flat, so i cut the center out of the stock grill so it would mount ok, has anyone else had this problem?

The Black Powder-Coat looks really nice on your 'Stang.
I've got the same grille, and Love it, but I didn't have to cut out the center of the stock grille. Once I removed the Pony, the grille laid flat; I'd hate to have to cut the center of my grille like that. I didn't have any issues...

    Nice Looking 'Stang! :nice:

gaberubin- i got the blackouts at http://www.lamin-x.com/, i have a set of the smoked head lights comming now, ill see how they look..

Reign696- when you removed the chrome pony, was there a area left that outlined the pony, molded into the grill, if so did the aftermarket grill you got have a cut out for this outlined raised part?

I almost thought i got a 6v grill but it has the fog cut outs??

ohhh well it works, i just cant take it off..

    tks

I think that grill looks great! I wouldn't have thought I'd have liked it, but it's pretty sweet.

I could live without the yellow fogs though.

    Overall, great idea!

Nice looking grill... I really like it. And surprisingly, I like the yellow fog lights as well. normally I don't like that kind of rally car look, but it seems to fit well on your stang.

I may have to consider that grill. I'm not the biggest fan of the honeycomb, and that looks like quite a nice overlay. Good call on powdercoating it too, I think the silver look may be a bit much around my area.

Jakoye- I have the plastic tail light covers on the tails, I thought about the film but I didn’t like how they don’t cover the whole lens, just comes in three pieces that go over the three bubbles in the lens and leaves the indented part red..

    Tks
