Well, I finally replaced my mach 460 headunit with an MP3 player -- and MAN what a difference! The rest of the mach system (amp and speakers) really comes alive with a head-transplant.
And thanks to you guys here on stangnet, I knew that the schosche stereo connector (model FDK10) would work -- piece of cake!
As for the Pioneer 4600MP, I'm quite impressed. I definitely didn't break the bank and this thing is loaded with features. It can read MP3s/WMA files pretty quickly, sounds great, remote, no cheesy display -- just the stuff you want to see.
Only regrets: it doesn't have a "dim" feature that would allow the display to reduce in intensity at night when you flip the headlights on. Not a big deal though IMHO.
