New motor install, tuning issue - cars just dies

    Installed new motor - pistons, cam, ported heads, etc etc. have 42lb injectors and ProM 80mm with custom SCT chip. Start car, it hunts and after 1-2 minutes it will just shut down - like you turn the key off. Will do this driving as well. Was thinking MAF, so put in stock MAF to test on dyno at SCT dealer, same thing - but really at a loss at this point and chasing our tails....

    Any ideas? Everything worked fine before rebuild, I know 94/95 ecu's are touchy, but for it to just shut down?

    Does it throw any codes? Any chance it could be TFI Module/PIP?

    If you changed things a good bit

    I can see how your chip might no longer be giving you the most optimum drivability benefits as it was before.

    The chip was custom for the combo from SCT, and the SCT dealer is burning custom tunes with SCT on the dyno..car just shuts off...
