ok went to the track on friday was not to unhappy with the results
13.96 @ 102 mph with a 2.2 60 footer
13.94 @ 102mph with a 2.1 60 footer

had the tires lowered to 25psi same tires i have had for the last 2 yrs i had when i got the car

so i will do the runs again with welds and nitto 555 and see if i can do better on that 60 footer

my friends 91 ran back to back 13.90 and 13.91 with 2.0 and 1.9 60 footers
he has full exuast / trick flow intake /3.73 gears and pulley

so not to bad of a week end for me most of the guys running there mustangs same year as mine or newer gt were running mid 14's a few(very few) were running 13's

i only did 3 runs missed 3gear on one of the runs and ran 14.3

i know with more practice i could have hit 13.8's my time was getting better with each run

so drag radials will help a lot

The trap isnt bad at all, weird because I ran a 13.7 on my very first run on DRs with a 2.10 60' but at 100.76 (shifted early into 4th) my other 2 were shot since i missed second, still ran a 14.09 @ 99.89 with a 2.03 60' on that next run. Mine were at 21PSI launched at only 2700 RPMs and it BOGGED and jerked.

heheh omg thats one thing i will never do strip her apart
i had a trunk load of tools in the back when i made the run and i still need to see what the numbers are on the dyno i am running on a new/used motor since my first motor died on me from not 1 but 3 bearing failures and crazy metal in the oil

so new dyno numbers on the way for this motor

also i think i could do a lot better i just need more track time this is the first time i have been to the track since july 04

the dr will help a lot i am spinning like a crazy man throught the 60 footer so with some practice and dr i am hopping for 13.6-13.5's
