i am the proud new owner of a 2007, vista blue with white stripes, gt coupe with 3900 miles on it, manual with the drag pack. they said the previous owner put 4.10s in, they said its got satellite radio and such.

i am wondering what sites have alot of information on these cars? i just bought it earlier today around 12 or so.

i havent gotten to spend much time with it because i had to head out for a concert at 3, but the cars got A LOT of features that i can't wait to learn how to use them.

i'll post pictures probably tomorrow night.

congrats! Vista Blue with white stripes is one of the best combos. Be sure to check out the ultimate S-197 sticky on the top of this forum. Lots of good stuff there. Especially the exhaust sound clips.

    pictures will be coming shortly.

i was wondering what were the two circles on the dome/map light for. i have my manual right next to me, but i have to clean up around the house real quick, so i haven't had a chance to read into it at all.

Just noticed you're building a '96 T-bird with your son. I have a '95 with a '96 front clip that my son & I are transplanting an '07 GT 4.6 3v into! Strange coincidence. hmmm.

i'm one of the sons, haha, nice, we haven't started ours yet, we're waiting for the etown swap meet this year to start getting parts.

that should be a fun car that your building with your son. nice stang btw, i kinda wish my stripes went all the way down, but its the least of my concerns, the car looks bad ass.

hah, i think your talking about klaws car, mine is the stock looking one right above his post.

drove the car more today, messed with some things, figured out the satellite radio kinda, sounds pretty damn good. not used to the clutch or throttle yet though, coming from a 94 with cable clutch and throttle, everything responds different. hard to take off without bogging or chirping real quick. i'm sure the 4.10s aren't helping me out any.

i took auto collision in a tech school for 2 years, and i'm going to buy some louvers and prep them and then my friend is going to bring them to his work to get painted. just found out my insurance will be about 1/5th of what i thought it would be a month, so i'll have more money then i thought to modify.

I thought that might have been what you meant too. Thanks!

Note that the mirrors, door trim, and body pieces were all color matched vb and then the stripes were painted and the whole car was prepped and clearcoated. I think it makes a big difference vs vinyl stripes.
