New tci torque converter

    Has anyone heard anything about the new 05 tci streetfighter torque converters. And do you think it will fit an 06?:SNSign:

    I installed mine a month ago 06' GT. It changes the car alot in a good way no problems so far it is a little noiser then stock because you have to rev more to get going but you'll get used to it I think it's rated at 3000 stall but it's more like 2800 just right for a daily driver. Hope you have some sticky tires my 275/40/18 Falkens 451 can't take any kind of brake torqueing. I like it more then my 3.73 gears. :nice:

    did you have to get your car re-tuned fot the converter?

    No tune is required for the converter.

    any loss of drivabilty or gas mileage, how high do you have to rev it to get it goin?

    The car will roll on it's own if you let off the brake but alot slower then with the stock converter. It's rolling good by 2000 rpm I am getting 15mpg in city with 3.73 rear.
