new to LA area need shops

hey all, im kinda new to the LA area and am interested in modding my car.. I have an 02GT with about 56k miles on it. Its basically stock now but id like to get it to maybe over the 300-350hp range. I think this is a modest gain? anyways.. any suggestions are welcomed on where to start. I don't have a shop that i know of that specializes in aftermarket performance but i am sure that there are many here. can anyone suggest a good mustang shop in the LA area. thanks.

also, where should i start on modding out my stang?

try Torrance, Ca. Off the 405 freeway. Chicane is the name of the place. You could also google the shop. He's a very good reputable man and you pay what you get for. He did my aod to T5 swap in a day and haven't had a problem!!!!
