Well i went and got some new wheels and tires and put them on monday after work and took it for a test drive. The wheels are 5zigen NO1-rc's 17x8 with 245s up front and 17x10 with 315 hoosiers out back. They are bronze wheels with a chrome lip. I got them because they are different from any other wheels that are on mustangs. Well long story short i got hit by a women who ran the redlight and put my car on a low median strip. The car needs a steering rack, pass. front fender, hood, bumper, headlights and both my front wheels are messed up:mad: On the bright side i dont have to pay for anything. I am getting a 03 cobra front end ( hood and bumper ) and smoked headlights. The only thing is that her insurance company wants to repair my wheels instead of replace them. I didnt get any pics beacause it was too dark and i havnt went to look at the car at the body shop yet. My question is has anyone had a wheel repaired?

While i think that is a cheap trick from your insurance company, the good news is most good wheel repair companies can fix your wheels so you'll never be able to tell anything happened...

Don't let them take advantage of you , show them whats up :nice: even if a wheel company can repair them. When push comes to shove they'll give in.:D

You can always threaten them with a "Loss of Value" estimate / payoff. It's nearly always higher than the repair estimate.

My wife pulled this years ago with the repair of her '93 LX. They replied with, "OK Mrs. Trumbo, we'll replace the door skin, no problem".

They wanted to "bondo" a door on a 1 yr. old car. A$$holes!

They said the one the are going to have to replace and the other is going to be repaired. They said the inside of it has a few scuffs but nothing major to make them replace it.
