Hello all, I've been registered to the site for some time now but It's time to start utilizing it. I'm a senior at Ohio State and bought my first mustang(2004 GT) a year ago April 14,2007. I've got some of the bolt-ons 70mm t/b, intake plenum, cai, flwmstr c/b, tri-ax, and i'm going to order the mac o/r h pipe. I have read dozens and dozens of write ups but just want to verify before ordering. Here's what ill be ordering:

    mac h pipe from brenspeed
    o2 sensor wire extensions
    xr32-9450-aa gasket
    napa exhaust manifold stud kit
I am going to hold off on getting the mil eliminators for now.

Any advice on the job is much appreciated.

I also just wanted to say I love the site. Its awesome to be around so many stang lovers!

heres a few pics of my baby...

You can use the stock gasket that's on the pipe now, i've reused it through 4-6 mid-pipe changes and it's still fine. You dont need a new stud kit, the mid-pipe just has holes in it. The stock manifolds have studs, you just bolt up to them.

Edit: And i thought you only need 02 extensions if you use the 96-98 o/r H. The Mac pipe for 99+ shouldn't need them unless im mistaken

The '04 Mustangs need o2 extensions.

So there are gaskets between the pipe and the manifold? My buddies 96 cobra has an exhaust leak on the passenger side and I hope it isn't the manifold to head gasket.

one side has the gasket cuz it's a flat meeting, the other side is ball and socket kinda deal w/out a gasket. The passenger side has the gasket, so that could be the case

The o2 sensors for '04 have a different location than previous years.
