So I bought a NX nitrous plate kit in sept and it has been just setting in my room cuz I was going to pay someone to do it but work has just been slow and I don't have any money to pay anyone. So I am going to try to install the kit and the bottle warmer myself and I was wondering if anybody has any tips and the best place to install the solenoid and the nitrous & bottle switch? Also I have a sct tuner and I had them give me a n/a tune and a nitrous tune for a 100 shot and my question is there nitrous tune going to be safe for my car till I can get it dyno tune? One more question I bought the svt focus pump and is there an easier way to put the pump in then to drop my tank?

To install the fuel pump, you have to drop the tank. No way around it. It's really not a big deal though. Run it to nearly empty before performing the work though. The more empty, the better!

When I installed nitrous on the 88, I tucked the solenoids into the inner fender and the nozzle comes in from underneath the intake tubes. I have a very generic arming switch tucked underneath the dash and the WOT switch is between the gas pedal and the floor. The wiring and hoses that are in sight are covered with black sprial wrap, giving it a factory appearance.

Why did I go through the trouble to hide it? Well, I'd rather people see what I run and then come over to scratch their heads. Besides, I'm only running a 35 shot... do they really need to know? It also makes tech easier. :nono:
