I have a "side job" from Nov to March, so that keeps me busy...then I had my little one with Elementary graduation and all that goes with that. THEN summer camp, volley ball practice, vacation, covering extra shifts at work. Finally getting around to getting some work done

Hey RC, been a while. There's another thread around here with a bunch of old guys in it, I'll try and bump that up for ya. Good to see you still kicking around, I've been in the same boat as you when it comes to having a whole lot on the go

    Cheers!

Well I made the discovery that the world was "round" and rolled back around eventually. Australia is quite nice this time of year.

I almost fell, but I stayed on the wagon :D

Getting car back in "daily driveability" shape. Feels good so far

I use mine everyday. About 80 miles per day. Put 14,000 miles in 6 months on her and knock down 23 MPG (80% highway). Luckily its very comfortable. The improvement over the 94 for a 6'4" dude is huge.

Yeah, I traded for Roger's Yellow 2006 GT. Needed the gas mileage and the truck was killing me. He wanted a truck so we switched for a few months. In April we swapped titles. I get over 23 MPG since my drive is 80% highway.

    Nice..so I guess you're both satisfied?

    How's is little Coupe doing?

Ive been working with Wes a lot getting the stang running..It's REALLY driveable now..just working on some details. Now I can drive it around to get the little things taken care of...A/C, alarm, stereo, and few other things before finishing the interior...After that will be the Snow Meth install, Nittos and dyno, then the paint...shooting for early next summer as time frame.

I will come by sometime when I'm in the area. Haven't been to Roger's house in awhile. Rog did all the mods before I got it. SLP axle back, beautiful DVD / Navi system and drop in K&N (I will post pics later). I just replaced the 3 foot antenna for an 8 incher and the wife is buying me a JLT cold air kit, SCT X3 handheld tuner and a custom tune. Just these items will increase gas mileage and add close to 30HP. I have a broken strut mount which is giving me clunking so I just bought GT500's from Down's Ford and will disect the front end next weekend. After all this I won't be doing anymore mods, well maybe a few interior trim upgrades but it's a daily driver. Just turned 30,000 miles this week. Rog loves the truck, it's tough looking and drives like a Caddy. Only problem is it gets 15MPG Highway and 10 City. Plus it has a 27.3 gallon tank. I went from $75 every 3 days to $37 every 4.5 days. Its good for Rog since he has the S2000 too. We still have all the parts off my 94- GT40X heads, TFS cam, Edelbrock RPM intake, basically everything but a 306 block and a 89-93 GT vehicle. We will be doing a drag car and trailor it with the truck. We're back in the Mustang game.

Nice...you're going to work on it together?

    Jose's is like a 9-sec car...he built a beast from a junk yard scrap.

We're going to do it at my house and leave it in the garage. A cage is not in the cards so it needs to run at 12.0's for now. Unless we find a rolling chassis with a cage already. That would be ideal.

If welding is the issue, then Jose can help. We (well, he) welded in the sheet metal in the engine bay to clean it up.
