noises

    i have this sound when i hit the brakes, last week it squeaked alittle, now it makes that i guess metal to metal sound but i only hear it at low speeds when i hit the brakes sometimes.... the car only has 10,000 miles on it. it cant be the brakes i dont drive with both feet lol.. what else could it be?

    I have what sounds to be an identical problem, but I'm at 44k.

    Check the brakes...especially the rear calipers. If one of the caliper slide pins seizes it will cause only one side to press against the rotor. It will wear one pad down in less than 10K miles.
