i have an 06 mustang auto , is it just me or the car makes alot of noise , not the exhaust , ticking noises also when driving above 70 or 80 mph the rides smooth but i feel a little vibration in the car does anybody feel this thanks the cars stock
Yes and Yes. Depends on the tick you are referring to. A/C clutch, if you have the 4.6 3-V your will hear a tick from the valve lashers. Drive shaft is a 2-part with a joint in the middle, unlike pre S197 single unit. Design is prone to vibration due to small pinon angle changes +/-where the joint does not compensate adequately. All in all, it is a Stang. It is the nature of the beast. After I listen for the "usual and customary souinds" Pennywise is cranked up and they all go away. Jenn
I'm getting some unwanted noise coming up from the gearbox ... sort of a growl ~ I dont think that its abnormal - just louder than I'd like it to be anyone else here?
