LOL!

Don't believe everything you read. They always talk up the newest and greatest thing, especially gm products in that magazine.

I couldn't had said it any better myself, and also couldn't agree more. As for the Camaro SS outperforming the 2010 GT is concerned ? Well just wait until the 400HP 5.0 4v arrives in the 2011 Mustang GT. Then will see who the real HP king is then.

If the Mustang doesn't gain any substantial weight. This should still give the 2011 GT, a distinct weight advantage over the Camaro SS along with the new powertrain, and 6speed trans !

    right.

400hp vs. 422hp? how exactly is it that you coming up 22hp short make you the HP king?

Most camaro racers are going to drop 3k and acheive their 500hp without F/I, so goodluck with that advantage. It ends as soon as it began.

As for the 6-speed trans/bigger engine/powertrain.. is this a forum or are you writing santa a wishlist?

seriously though, GM always has ford's number. If Ford is pulling something out that will challenge the camaro, GM will just give the Camaro an LS7 or something.

im not a troll, and i know this is a mustang forum, but like many members are doing on MY forum, im here to make sure the Camaro isnt missrepresented.

Misrepresenting? Your worried about that in a Mustang forum? wow.

Lets discuss all the invalid points you've made in this post.

Technically, you can't compare either cars at the moment on final hp numbers. 2010 mustang engine has not yet been revealed. Has everyone forgotten about the GT500? What's the hp numbers on that car again? Okay..and lets evaluate 22hp if that is going to be the final say so. 22hp with the weight difference and driver skill that is nothing. Having a passenger in the car will kill that advantage in any situation.

And mustang guys never spend any money to modify their rides either? Come on, your reaching. So let's see. 33k SS camaro with 6 speed, plus taxes and fun stuff the stealership likes to charge (because it can, as the demand will be high for this car), and your up to 35-36k. Plus you "3k" in mods...wow..your rolling round in a 40k plus car and have 500 hp...damn ..that sounds like another car you can purchase with warranty..oh yeah.. .gt500's. LOL! Or you can skip the gt500 and do a base mustang gt for 25-26k and spend oh say 13-15k on it and well..everyone knows what that will equal.... alot faster than you 40k camaro.

My point is, you can twist and change your argument anyway you want. It's been happening for years between the camaro and mustang. I'm just glad GM finally coming out with the car. This way my new mustang will be cheaper and better, as everyone knows, competition is good.

6 speed bigger engine power train has existed in the mustang since 07...again..gt500. And look at the prices of 07-08 gt500's now. Below retail and some in the mid 30's. Camaro will come out, just as gt500, and have 10-15k mark up on it. Losing your entire argument again on 500hp per dollar.

GM always has ford's number. Right. How long has the Camaro been gone, I can't remember?

Well mr. troll, we sure are glad you showed up to "represent" your precious camaro, because you have proved yet another point, you can't handle the fact that the mustang is still the better value. Otherwise you wouldn't have posted.

    We value your envy. :SNSign:

before i begin im going to have to ask you to use logic before posting... otherwise this whole debate thing wont work. you cant explain to a retard hes wrong.

i already ordered my Camaro... from Camaro Scotty of WI for 1000 UNDER MSRP.

    so lets recap.

32k, 422hp, 410lbs of torque, 6 speed, IRS, and a BETTER fresh design.

    ok lets move on.

Now when i compared the 422 to the 400 its because someone up there said 'the new one will have 400' I dont know any more than you do. im going by what the ford fanboys in here say.

    so back to 422hp...

    32k... whats 32k + 3k? (the price of a cam/tune swap)

    common... you can do it...

awesome, 35k. so for 35k im going to have a 500+hp 450lb torque, IRS, 6 speed, MONSTER of a car.

now i know this is a ford forum so let me specify, when i say 500hp, i mean 495hp which has been confirmed through dyno's.

(Now if you were to dyno the GT500's "500" hp, you come up with about 430... weird huh? so your 7k in the hole and 70hp down...)

Now if i were to supercharge the LS3, say another 3k.

    so 35k + 3k= 38k

have you ever seen what f/I does on an LS3? your sitting on 600-630hp. for how many THOUSANDS less than a GT500?

So after all of this, you have a car which is faster than your 80k mustang, handles better than ANYTHING ford makes, has better gas milage, and still costs less.

Now if you take the route i will be taking, you spend 2k on weight reduction, your sitting at 3600lbs.

    so 38k + 2k = 40k.

The Camaro has gone for about 7 years, and im not sure if you follow the world events, but GM has come out with some of the baddest cars in the world in its absence. now im going to suggest to Ford's engineers to stop embarrassing the mustang name and come out with a real car.

here is a little teaser for you. go to ...www.Youtube.com, type in 'Ls3 Corvette' , the clip has the camaro's LS3, with the cam swap i told you about (the 3k upgrade i made first) which brings the dyno'd hp to 495. But its ok... the mustang has been here longer... LMAO.

This is your own opinion. Me personally i do not think its a "better" or "fresher" design.... GM and the like are just copying what ford did with the retro styling with the mustang.

A cam will yield 75+hp?? where is this "proof". again the IRS has been an argument, nobody cares that the camaro is going to have an IRS. People will probably yank em out in favor of a solid axle..

    :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

HAHAHAH SUPERCHARGE A NEW CAMARO FOR 3K!!!! dude.. seriously i highly doubt you'll get a blower pushing that kind of HP for 3k... HIGHLY doubt.. Probably more like 4k+

Again how is ford engineers embarrising the mustang name?? last time i checked they almost always outsold the camaro, and never went out of production.

Because it has less HP its an embarrassment? LAME!!!!! :notnice:

yes... its my opinion... lets see who sells more this next year.

Are you kidding? no one cares about IRS? hahahahahahaha. oohhhhhh FordTard. :rlaugh:

The fact that you doubt both the blower and the Cam/tune swap results remind me that this is a mustang forum and you've been so used to poor results its part of your thinking.

    here you are. :nonono:

Prove it. Let me see the sales invoice. Scan or attach. Or should I call the named dealer in reference. Because all the bs your babblin about proves your immaturity and proves my point of you probably don't have one on order.

LOL!! Okay how much is the mustang gt going to cost? IRS is not always better, and better fresh design..your opinion, because I really don't like the looks of the new camaro.

3k. Please list of parts and labor for this 500 hp combination.

Of must I remind you on a mustang gt for 26-28k with 7-8k in mods will smoke your camaro, if you want to go that route.

Your streching dude. Supercharging the new camaro will cost you over 5k for anything decent, plus labor and tune.

    Try again.

Actually my ex's father has a magnuson blower on is 06 vet ls2, and put down 530 hp. Very nice. But that's 6k kit with all the correct parts.

Just called procharger on your ls3 supercharger kit $7,200.00 USD!!!!!! LMAO!!!!!

80k mustang? WTF are you talking about.

Wow. So you have a 45k plus car with 3k in upgrades and you have what you speak of. Great comparison.

At the end of the day, your precious camaro will lose the bang for the buck argument, simply because ford has kept the mustang gt in the mid 20k range.

Say your total budget is 32k. Which will be faster? Stock camaro or a mustang gt with a blower.

What car do you currently own? A mustang?

    wow your ignorant.

ill do you one better, when i get the car, we'll meet up at a track of your choosing so i can wipe my ass with your ****stang.

if you dont belive me, i gave you the name of the dealer, feel free to call and order one yourself.

IRS is better to the 99.9999999% of people who WONT do drag with their cars. seriously, shave the mullet.

i dont know who is ripping you off, but your talking about a GMPP Cam swap/tune, and a blower of your choice. and your at 600-625hp. my guess is your buddy got robbed on the labor.

personally i build cars, so labor means nothing to me.

A mustang GT with 7k worth of upgrades is 35k.

    SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

wrong. camaro at 35k is sitting on 500-550hp depending on which way you go.

dude your always, ALWAYS going to come up short.

but then again, you sound like someone who would buy a civic for 300 bucks and supercharge it just to say its fast.

the camaro is a better car than the mustang . Period.

And you get more for the money with a camaro . Period.

    Ford. Fails.

but hey, im sure the 4-door mustang will be a big hit...

No i'm not kidding about the IRS.. Mustang owners have been there, done that. To go down the track, i'd rather have a solid axle.. KTHANKSBYE.

You can't base the new camaro sales over ONE year, lets see how they do over the next 3-5 years mkkayyy????
no what i was saying is the price... You are so smart right? How the hell can YOU site there and say the blower will cost 3k??? :rlaugh::rlaugh::rlaugh::rlaugh: I HIGHLY doubt the COST, read a little bit of what i wrote MMKAY! that disproves how your precious camaro will be the same cost with more power. 3k for a friggen CAM??? 50hp or not, thats retarted expensive.

Last time i checked a blower yeilded 120+ HP on a stock 05+ 3valve mustang. so where you're getting poor results from is beyond me.. Cut the mullett dude and stop smoking your camaro crack pipe, open your eyes and see the facts that the mustang isn't so far off, and i guarantee over the next 10 years it will still be here, selling as strong as ever regardless of what chevy comes out with and does to there camaro. :nice:

    A. your so stupid its frustrating. get off your sister for a second and try to catch this.

IRS is worse on a (straight) track...

Live axel is worse on EVERYTHING BUT A STRAIGHT TRACK...

so if the car is a drag racer... yes.. otherwise (to the other 99% of people) IRS>live

idiot... there are reasons the most expensive cars in the world are all IRS. ford sucks at IRS, their suspensions are HORRIBLE.

    B. camswap/tune/blower - 6k worth of fun. sit on it and spin.

So I'm right. You haven't ordered one and your talking out your arsh.

I agree that IRS is better on a road course car. But if you want to run at the drag strip, solid axle is better. I had an 04 cobra and I hated the IRS.

LS3, let's see the price and part numbers please.

No not really. I can personally tell you that your camaro will not have more than 500 hp for less than 38k. You forgot taxes and all the other bs that goes along with purchasing the camaro. Plus the parts and labor, because it didn't come from the factory with extra cams and tunes for you. I know your braggin about your labor deal, but same could be said for the modifications to the mustang.
I have a 2006 GT vert in the garage, not a civic. Just get that straight.

Camaro is better than the mustang...at what exactly? Costing more, not available, and over hyped.

More money with the camaro...well you will spend more total money on the camaro if you compare the final costs of achieving the goal that your looking for with your car. Ford has always got it done cheaper, bang for your buck. Foxbody mustangs, terminators, and gt500's.

Ford fails....yes, that's why the mustang is still around and the camaro was discontinued. You continue to prove my points on the maturity thing.

Okay. I just finished reading some of your "Brilliant" posts over at Camaro5.com. Wow. You are not allowed to speak anymore.

Let me know how super gluing your ss logo works out of ya, oh and don't forget to pay for your t-shirt and advise them your shipping details, and I love how you talk great about the bullit over there.

Oh and someone so mechanically inclined like yourself shouldn't be asking questions about the difference between superchargers and turbochargers, should they?

I do like to see red interior on some cars..but not all, and those rims you posted...lol... look like poop.
