just bought my 99 Cobra with only 5,200 miles on it. i doubt this actually happened, but i wanted to see what you guys had to say about odometer rollbacks on 99+ stangs. it seems almost impossible to me, since the odometer is digital. am i wrong? is there any way the odometer could be rolled back? everyone i tell about my 99 with 5000 miles on it is shocked at the mileage, and one guy even asked "damn, who rolled the odometer back on that one?!" jokingly i think. so it made me start thinking about it. what are some ways to tell? it's still on (i think) the factory BFGoodrich tires. The seats are in great condition but do show some of those normal crease lines in the leather. is there anything else i can look for? i did a carfax report on it and it came out clean. thanks for any info provided!
