No you will not need MIL eliminators. If those are your only mods then I wouldn't put a e303 cam in your car. Also if you still have stock heads then the shorty headers are hurting you as well. I would spend your money on changing the intake.
You wont throw any codes, maybe 96 and newer will, but Foxes are fine!! Yeah like 89sleeper said, dont do a cam without the heads. You can do it the other way around though,,new heads would be an awsome mod!!(the stock cam is pretty good) But look into an intake also. You can pick one up from t-moss for 150 beans!! He does good work. Its a factory lower intake that he ports out !!
To keep things reasonable,Thumper heads are probably the best bang for the buck.I think they are like 5-600 bucks. They are stock heads that have been ported polished and have a 5 angle valve job!! Thats what Im doing this winter,,head swap I cant wait
89sleeper - I don't think you read my post correctly. On mildly moded cars X-pipes loose low end Tourque in exchange for high end horsepower. I'm sure you gained 6 horsepower across the boards over your old set up because that's what X-pipes do. Tourque loss or increase depends on the setup of the car. You may have gained some tourque if your car has enough hp to begin with. However, in the case of Foxbodyrules, his motor is stock and it will loose low end tourqe in exchange for high-end power with an x-pipe. This has been proven. I'm not just talking out of my a@# here. Foxbody rules is most likely going to do whatever he wants anyway so I don't know why I'm even pursuing this. Sorry if this post sounds like i'm yelling, cause I'm definitely not .
