off the wall 95 project

I just recently pick up a running 429 motor with a c6 tranny. Im debating on dropping it in a 95 coupe car. Does anyone have any idea what i will have to do to make it fit, or where i can find out some more information on what i need to make it work. Im going to leave it carbed, and do a simple painless wiring harness in the car. Just need to know what to do to get the motor and tranny in the car.

Well, I know that different companies sell swap 'kits' for this. You'll need special headers, motor mounts, and oil pan at the least. Try this site, I've always had a thing for the 385 series big blocks, and it looked like it had some good info when I checked it out a couple years ago.

Keep in mind that your car will be very nose-heavy with that engine!

Years ago there were several kits to put 385's in Fox bodies. I don't recall any kits for SN95's. It should be noted, however, that a 10 liter version of the 385 block was shoe-horned into John Colletti's Boss 604 in '94. Check it out:
