Contact Justin at VMP Tuning. I've used him for quite a few vehicles and have nothing but good things to say about his work and customer service. I'd highly recommend him.
Well where do you live? A proper tune should be done on a dyno so you can see A/F ratios throughout your full RPM range.
+1 but I have to add that way you are sure about local factors such as weather, elevation, and gasoline quality. Mail tunes are good but they won't take in consideration variables such as these and may rob you of some efficiency.
A reputable tuner like the ones mentioned can easily write a mail order tune for the above mods that is spot on. I won't argue that a dyno tune isn't better. However, I've seen a lot of dyno tunes that were worse than a reputable tuner's mail order tune. So be careful with that.
I think a Bamachips tune would suit your situation just fine. If you had a power adder like a blower or turbo then a custom dyno tune would be a must.
+1 to that. w/ your mods you'll be fine w/ a mail order tune. i have a email tune from VMP for my whipple and it is great. bama and brenspeed are good too. i dont think the dyno tune will get you much more power for the extra money. if you have a power adder or cams then a dynotune would be better, but w/ what you have now, email tune should be good.
Yup, Bamachips is great. I ordered a JLT/tuner combo...and I got the tuner, but not the intake. Well I already have a C&L intake, just gonna change it. So within eight hours, Doug sent me a new custom tune for the C&L intake to hold me over until my JLT gets here.
Brenspeed is an awsome tuner. Brent White can tune just as well as any of the above mentioned people.
