I'm doing a new amp rack for my amps. I want it to be stealth so i'm going to do covers for the amps out of the same carpet that go right over them. Should I go with just the cover and the amp underneath when you pull the cover off or go with plexi under the cover with neons by the amps? What do you guys think? I can't decide if the neons is too ricey or not.
go with the neons and amps under plexi. just make sure they ahve sorta airflow. neons only look ricey when they are under your dash.
In my old car *cough under breath* my saturn. I lined the whole floor with mirror plexiglass then mounted the amps to that, then I mounted neons on it, but out of site so you couldnt see them. Then I covered the whole thing with regular clear plexiglass, but I put it on a hinge so that you could access the amps if you wanted to. It looked so badass, I will look to see if I have any pics around, but I dont know if I had my digital camera then....
