While it is retro because a lot of older cars had a similar boot, the S197 interior is too refined for that boot. While the design of the interior is retro, it's very modern also. It will totally clash. The Hurst shifter handle and ball looks classy and is timeless. But I think that boot would end up look very hillbilly-like. Again, someone install it and prove me wrong.
We watched my brothers Girlfriend and shes a NOOB took her 45 minutes with us making sure she didnt F' the car up ! So ya if you know how to use a socket and read Id say about 30min to an hour
