I am new to the mustang world. Just bought a 94 Ford Mustang Convertible with the 3.8L automatic transmission. The overdrive light is blinking on and off. We cleaned the area around the button believing that it was sticking but it continues to blink. It is not blinking when you first start it but after awhile it starts to blink and the transmission does not shift until it tacks out around 3. I know that this is not normal and must have something to do with the overdrive blinking since when it does not blink the transmission shift at around 2 1/2. Anyone have any idea what it is before we try troubleshooting.

    Thanks

i would agree that it is probably a code. get a haines manual and it will tell you troubleshooting codes and what they mean.

i know a simple fix.... T-5 THAT BABY!!
