Well It took 2 days to do, but I got the swap done:D I'll have pics and more posted later tonight. The car is getting dyno tuned right now and I'll know the power soon:D
List of parts that when on

Ported PI heads PI intake, and stock pi cams
    Bassani Mid headers
    Custom made mid pipe
    C&L 80mm maf
    coolant mod
    and a dyno tune

I did order a set of VT stage 1 cams, but I could not get them in time for the swap, and after reading all the bad stuff that happened with VT I cancelled my order.:nonono: The last time I dyno'd my car I made around 230hp with a tune, and with out a tune I made 217hp. I'm hoping for big numbers!

I'm guessing 275-285 rwhp. Post up some numbers!

If you would have gotten the cams in time you would defiantly hit 300+rwhp

Well I got the car dyno'd it made 250rwhp w/out a tune @5400rpm and 289rwtq @ 4200rpm. After Randy Haywood tuned my car it made 271rwhp@5600rpm and 301rwtq@4200. Thats right 21hp in just a tune! Thats for people that say you dont need a tune after a pi swap. And Randy told me theres more power to come if he had bumped the time up, maybe around 10 more rwhp there! The car @ 6000rpm made 80rwhp over the non-pi heads! The power was well over the setup I had before. I will post some pics soon!:D

Nice job. I can't wait to get mine done. I got the heads and the intake is on the way. I think I am going to go with some different cams though.

What did you end up spending in the long run?
I imagine the difference is amazing in the car.

well I got alot of the parts from ebay, heads, headers, and other parts

    heads w/ cams $250 Ebay
    Pi intake $80 Ebay
    c&l maf $0 Gift
    headers $350 Ebay
    head change kit $100
    Misc. Gaskets $190
    Oil/coolent/spark plugs $75
    tune $150
    Misc. parts $100

    Total cost $1295

Not too bad for 80+ hp @6000rpm and 55 peak hp, all at the rear wheels and is always there. Plus like I said before, theres still room for power in the tune still.

I still think its pretty cheap to go n/a on a non-pi car over buying a new or used blower. IF I got the cams ($500 bucks) I would have been well over 300hp and I havent see too many blown non-pi 2v do it any cheaper. I've seen some blown non-pi's make as much as I'm making n/a! If you do it right you can make some power n/a.
