Just want to see where everything lines up at.... I found a guy switching to carb $200 for everything i need 70mm bbk tb and egr.... i also found a 65mm tb and egr as well as iac and egr valve for $100 but would still need the cable and bracket... both seem like a good deal...

I am basically trying to see where everything sits and different CAI set ups... im considering cutting a hole out of my new shaved bay to hide the maf and filter in... and runing a 90* elbow with a strait pipe into the fender...:nice:

i redrilled the holes on my upper plenum and reused my sn95 tb. i had some 1/8th inch aluminum sheets laying around that i used to make a plate to cover the egr passage and made a bracket for the throttle linkage.

Dave, your car is beautiful! I think you just made up my mind as to the color scheme for my car, blue and silver!

No cold air intake on my previous car, but it shows the possibilities with a supercharger and Fox TB setup:

did you feel a difference going with that setup powerwise?....looks easy to do...only things to do for it is like you stated...or did you just do it for the looks ?

it was not the easiest mod to do. it took all day to do with having to make the plate to go between the tb and manifold. i had simple tools that took forever but im sure with some better fabricating tools you could do it much quicker. i used a cutoff wheel and an angle grinder to do it. and i had a drill. i had to line up the tb to the inlet hole, then redrill everything making sure it would match up. then made my own cai. i had to make the throttle linkage as well. for a small fee i will make the necessary parts to make the swap. you will have to drill out the holes on the manifold. i did it cause i put the fox valve covers on and with the elbow i couldnt get the tb off without taking the plenum off. plus its cleaner and runs a lil better

Man oh man...you're opening a can of worms with that question....:stirpot:

big 'ol debate over that, Killercanary did a comparo, but used different size TB's before and after, turned into like a 4 page thread, some of the responses were entertaining.... :fairyfight:

I think it looks better, I'm gathering the parts to do the swap. :spot:

Its there. The square pipe style plug. as long as it doesnt go in to a coolant chamber or into a single intake runner id say it might work. its gonna be a pain in the a** to route to there.
