I'm planning on trading my '02 GT in this weekend and I have a few questions. First off, I'm worried about the infamous "Tick" problem, so I think I want to have the car inspected before I buy it. The car is in stock form now, so I was wondering if I could take it to a Ford Dealer and have it looked at to make sure there wasn't a chip, pcm reflash... or pulley installed. Can someone run an Oasis Report on the car for me... or do I need to go to Ford for that to? The VIN is 1FAFP48Y43F300073

I'm buying this from a respectable used car dealer that specializes in the sales of SVT's, Roush's, and Saleen's... but I still want to make sure I don't buy a headache. Is there anything else I should be aware of? The car has 6,000 miles on it... I appreciate any advice you guys can give me... and I can't wait to join the SVT Crowd...

    Hell hath frozen over lol...

Sorry I can't help ya. Either way, if you discover issues with it that were not disclosed you should have 30 days to reverse the deal.

You're in Orlando you must be getting it from Blacks they are good people i got my 01 Cobra from there before you buy it ask them about lowering it they will throw it in they did it for me. They pay for the steeda springs and labor you would have to buy the camber plates. They will have Lamottas do it and to tell you the truth i wouldnt take my car anywhere else Jake will look at it for you when he is doing the work and tell you whats up. Good Luck

Thanks for the heads up... Juiceman. I'll ask about the lowering, but since I'm going to have to haggle with them with my trade-in... I doubt they'll be going out of their way for the lowering. I agree about Lamotta's too... Jake installed the 4.10's in my GT and I was very happy with their service.

I've only heard good things about Black's Automotive... So maybe a small section of hell has frozen over... FriedChicken
