i really want to get long tube headers.
what i'm worried about is all this stuff i've been reading,about the clutch cables burning. its not a daily driver.(90 lx 5.0 5 spd). but i don't want to be bothered with this type of potential problem.

do any of u have first hand knowledge of this happening to u or someone u know personally. or is this a mith concocted by those who wanted l/t's,but couldn't get them for whateverreason and settled for the shorties. any help would be GREATLY appreciated. thanks alot.

It could happen, but it could also happend with shorty headers if you didn't route the cable properly. It all matters where you route the cable. The biggest question with LT's is are you going to have enough ground clearance. Remember your H or X pipe will have to be replaced as well. You might also need O2 sensor extensions. Good Luck

Even if it was a LT issue, it could be easily solved with heat tape on the headers, or heat reflective sheathing on the cable.
