    clearance... I can stick my fingers back there to shut hvac off with the screen out. Its a little awkward but it works.

    oh yea I forgot to mention I scored on that screen. Picked it up off some guy at my work for $40

    no touch screen unfortunatly. It plays cd's dvds and most media cd's like WMV and avi files.

    So, with something like that does it fit in the origonal slot for the radio or do you need to do some fabrication?

    If you're replacing your radio, a 7" motorized/retractable screen will fit snugly in a standard DIN socket. If you're doing my plan and keeping the radio, then you'd need a custom mounting bracket that would hold both the radio and the screen.
