Port and Polished heads

    I just bought an extra pair of heads for my Mustang and I'd like to get them Port and Polished.

    I'd like to hear some words outta those who've done this mod or know anything about it. What kinda gains am I lookin at, where can I get it done or can I do it myself without any major problems.

    You could send them to places like www.rpm-mustangs.com or www.supersixmotorsports.com to get them worked over. If you've got a little $$$ to put into them, maybe look into some bigger valves to go along with a thorough porting. That should really open them up and let them flow some serious cfms.

    Do local shops do any kinda work like that at all? If not, they could probably point me in the right direction right?

    I'm sure there are plenty of good shops floating around out there that the internet may never hear about, but I have yet to have much luck finding places like that around my parts (East Tenn). I'm sure that in Texas you would probably be able to find a reputable local shop a little easier, though...
