Hello Stangers! Here’s an idea I had. Please review and let me know what you think! Sales Theory: The more you sell the more commission you make, bulk sales are preferred. Think about it, when you buy in bulk you usually get a better deal. If you were a seller wouldn’t you give a better deal to a larger purchase? Of course you would, because the more you sell the more you make! My idea: Get as many of us together as possible as a group to purchase a power adder. I’ll work with several companies to get the best deal for us all, ie: JD’s Performance, SuperchargersOnline, DiscountSupercharges, Supercharges4less, etc… After negotiations with each I’ll post the options available (deals) from each company. I do need to wait to do this until we have a large enough group though. So please don’t expect immediate info, but a great deal at the end. The basic idea is that these companies would love to sell 20 or more power adders, (Paxton, Vortech, ProCharger, KB, which ever you want). I need to conserve money so I’ll go for the Novi 1000, but you pick the system you want and with the bargaining power of a large group I bet we can get some sort of free upgrades or other discounts! The more people in the group the more bargaining power we’ll have. So, if you’re interested please post your preference, and contact info, or PM me through Stangnet, and we’ll get a group together. As for the timeline involved…. I’m flexible; I just want the best deal we can get. So if we have a large group that’s ready in month, then great, or if some people need more time then this can take two months plus and that’s fine with me too. Just remember, the more Stangers who want in on this the better deal we can work. Also, you will be working NO financial stuff through me. My part is just as a Negotiator with the company to get us the best deal, and that’s it. I’m a contract specialist with the Govt. and I’m just putting my knowledge to good use. Steve
Hey Thompson, I personally am in no situation to make such a purchase... but I think that this concept has great potential if you can find enough guys out there that can afford a supercharger. I'd say you picked the right place to come if there's a chance to make this work. Good luck...
Update with JD's Performance. I just talked with Dave at JD's. I asked him about the Paxton, ProCharger and Vortec S/C's. Since I didn't have a group yet I just asked him hypothetically about discounts in general on these. The only one he said he could Discount was the Paxton by 3%. Here are his regular prices: Novi 1000 = $1,690 Vortech sc trim = $1,690 ProCharger = $2,400 Since I had a little more info I thought I'd post it.
